Poelle is poetry rendered in leather. The name brings together Poetry, Pelle — Italian for “leather” — and Elle, “she”.
An independent house of accessories with its own atelier in Ukraine. We create pieces that outlast the seasons: pure form and handcraft that stays with you for years.
To belong to yourself is to choose pieces that never overshadow a woman, but reveal her. Quietly, confidently, for years to come.

Inside the atelier
Pavlo Popko and Petro Lyshak
Founded Poelle in 2021 in their hometown of Horodok, near Lviv. Pavlo was making leather accessories while still at school and later studied at the Academy of Arts. Petro built the system the brand stands on.

Poelle: leather bags made by hand in Ukraine
Poelle is a Ukrainian brand of women's bags and accessories in natural leather and suede. It was founded in 2021 by Pavlo Popko and Petro Lyshak in Horodok, in the Lviv region of Ukraine. The Poelle atelier is still there: every bag is cut, stitched and checked by hand, from the first pattern to the last stitch.
The name joins three words: Poetry, Pelle (Italian for "leather") and Elle ("she"). That is our approach too: a simple form with meaning behind it, and pieces worn every day for years rather than for one season.
Each collection is a dialogue with art. L'Art de Vivre, Stilleven, Color Field, Papier Collé, Blue Velvet and Dolce Far Niente each began with a painting, a film or a mood that stayed with us. Poelle has also collaborated with the COAT.
Across the European Union, Norway and Switzerland, you can order at poelle.eu. Delivery is complimentary, and duties and taxes are already included in the price. Every piece carries a one-year Poelle guarantee from the day of delivery.

What are Poelle bags made of?
Natural leather and natural suede; the olive Untitled is genuine leather with a patent finish. Linings are eco-leather or textile, and the hardware is gold-tone metal.
