A leather bag as a gift: how to choose the size and color, and what if it doesn’t suit
Choose a gift bag by what she carries every day, not by the photo. If she carries a laptop, she needs a tote; if only a phone and keys, a small bag for the hand or worn crossbody. If you are unsure of size or color, give a digital gift card with no expiration date. A bag can be returned within 30 days of delivery.
Size: look at what she carries now
Her current bag is the first clue. Think of what comes out of it in a day: a laptop and folders, a cosmetic bag and a notebook, or just a phone and keys.

Color: start from her coat and shoes
Look at the coat and shoes she wears most. A black bag goes with black, gray and navy; a brown one with beige, camel and denim. Marsala, caramel suede or navy blue suit someone who already owns a basic bag. Our hardware is gold-tone metal, so there is little to match with her jewelry.
Leather or suede
If you don’t know how she looks after her things, choose smooth leather: a dry cloth is enough. Suede wants a brush and a protective spray, and it does not like rain. More in our guide to leather or suede.
When in doubt: a gift card, or something without a size
Poelle gift cards are digital and delivered by email; you can send one straight to her with a personal message. The balance can be used across several orders and the card has no expiration date.

Packaging and delivery
Every bag arrives in our signature box, wrapped in tissue paper and tied with a ribbon, in a fabric dust bag, with its tag and a care guide. There is nothing more to wrap.
You can ship it straight to her: enter her name and address at checkout. We never put a receipt or an invoice with prices in the parcel.
Bags from our warehouse in Poland arrive in 1–2 business days within Poland and in 1–3 business days elsewhere in the EU. Bags from the atelier in Ukraine take 5–7 business days, and made-to-order pieces 10–15 business days. Each product page shows the timing, so order early for a date.
If it doesn’t suit
You have 30 days from delivery to return the bag for a full refund. The first 14 days are the statutory right of withdrawal; from day 15 to day 30 the bag must be unused, with its dust bag, box and tags. Keep the box and tags until she has tried it. She can arrange the return or exchange herself; the refund goes to the payment method used for the order. To exchange for another model or color, return the bag and place a new order. Which leather bag should I give if I don’t know her style?
A black or brown mid-size bag in smooth leather that can be carried by hand or crossbody, such as Object №03 Medium. Or a gift card.
Will the price be in the parcel?
No. We never include a receipt or an invoice with prices.
