Sophie in Brown — Leather Mini Crossbody Bag

Sophie in Brown is a brown leather mini bag: a miniature box on a slender strap. The warm chocolate calf leather is gentler than black and holds an autumn palette well — a camel coat, a cream cable-knit jumper, brown suede boots, denim. The gold-tone emblem on the flap adds a little light without taking over. It is a leather handbag in miniature for short everyday routes: coffee, an exhibition, lunch with a friend. Sophie also comes in a larger size, Sophie Medium.

What fits in this small leather crossbody bag

A card holder or a few cards, keys, lipstick, lip balm and earphones. There may not be room for a large phone — Sophie is designed for the essentials only. The strap adjusts from 60 to 126 cm, so you can wear it as a small leather shoulder bag or across the body.

Care for smooth leather

Wipe with a soft, dry cloth, protect it from rain and long exposure to sun, and apply a colourless leather cream every few months. Store it in its dust bag with a little paper inside so the box shape holds.

Where it is made

Each Sophie is made in POELLE's own atelier in the Lviv region of Ukraine, from the first cut to the last stitch. POELLE is a Ukrainian handbag brand working in genuine leather and suede.
